Terms of Service
Last updated June 19, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of Codax, an interview-preparation platform operated by CAS Media (CNPJ 62.328.609/0001-41). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
The service
Codax helps you prepare for technical interviews through coding problems, spaced-repetition courses, mock interview practice, and AI-generated feedback on your code. We may change, add, or remove features over time.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use Codax. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorized use.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service: no attempting to breach security or access other users’ data, no scraping or automated bulk access, no reverse engineering, no reselling or sharing your account, and no using Codax for unlawful purposes.
Your content
You retain ownership of the code and solutions you submit. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the service for you, including generating AI feedback.
AI feedback
AI-generated clues and reviews are assistive and may be incomplete or incorrect. They are not professional advice and do not guarantee any interview outcome. Use your own judgment.
Intellectual property
Codax, including its problems, lessons, content, and software, is owned by CAS Media and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the service; no other rights are granted.
Plans and payments
Some features may require a paid plan. Where they do, applicable fees, billing cycles, and refund terms will be presented to you before purchase and form part of these terms.
Termination
You may stop using Codax and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or to protect the service or other users.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CAS Media is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of the company’s jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
